WHAT IS LAMART?

Lamart is a new product in the world of glass that has been developed by GGI.

This glass is a laminated glass product that offers the client the possibility of having any artistic image or illustration within the glass itself.

After printing the Lamart film it is laminated within two layers of glass using PVB.

SAFETY

Being a laminated product Lamart is considered as a Safety glass. This means that if the glass is broken it will not cause any harm or injuries and therefore can be used in all the risk areas as identified by document N of the BSl.

SOUND INSULATION

High Sound Insulation reaching STC of 36dBa in single form, which is even higher than regular 24mm double glazed unit.

SECURITY

The film of Lamart with the presence of the PVB sandwiched in between glass layers, forms a barrier that is very difficult to penetrate. Such a fact definitely classifies Lamort as a Security glass.

ADVANTAGES

• Lamart can be supplied in annealed, tempered or heat strengthened in flat or curved form, as single or even double glazed unit.
• Using Lamart gives the client the possibility if required of having a different picture or illustration on each glass panel without extra cost. In other words it is no longer necessary to have a repetitive pattern in order to save money.
• Lamart can be used internally and externally, the materials and pigments used in the process of manufacturing are all Ultra Violet resistant. The final product has been intensively tested for colour fading and stability, adhesion and compatibility, and the results were excellent, the fact that made it possible for us to issue a warranty on the final product.
• Lamart gives you the possibility of using the building façade or elevation as a big advertising area.
• Lamart can be supplied in either transparent or translucent.
• Reflects 99% of the Ultra Violet light, therefore protects the internal elements such as curtains, furniture or carpets from such a harmful light that causes colour fading.
