PLANITHERM FUTURE N1.1

WHAT IS PLANITHERM FUTURE N 1.1?

PLANITHERM FUTURE N1.1 is a clear float glass with high performance thermal insulating and solar control low-emissivity coating, designed for use in insulating glass units. The exceptionally high performance heat-reflecting coating is deposited on float glass by means of sputtering process.

This latest development of ultra thin but high selective coating offers a low solar energy transmission with a comparatively high light transmission.

It significantly reduces heat loss through windows and ensures that insulating glass units incorporating PLANITHERM FUTURE N1.1 provide superb thermal insulation.

SOLAR CONTROL PERFORMANCE

Solar control is often a necessity for commercial buildings and offices, which are generally air-conditioned.

The entry of solar radiant heat energy can be reduced by using insulating glass units with both a low U-value and a low solar factor.

PLANITHERM FUTURE N1.1 achieves both functions when incorporated into a insulating glass unit with solar control glass.

The location of the coating either on face 2 or 3 does not affect the thermal insulation performance or U-value of the insulating glass unit.

However, the appearance of insulating glass units varies slightly depending on whether the PLANITHERM FUTURE N1.1 coating is on face 2 or 3. It is important to glaze the coating on the same face throughout an entire facade.

APPLICATIONS

All applications, including curtain walling, commercial windows, constructions with large glazed areas, roof glazing and atriums.

PLANITHERM FUTURE N1.1 can be tempered, heat strengthened, curved and laminated at GGI.

PLANITHERM FUTURE N1.1 must only be used in insulating glass units, laminated safely and/or security glass, acoustic PVB laminated safely glass, toughened glass.

PLANITHERM FUTURE N1.1 is necessity for commercial buildings and offices.

PLANITHERM FUTURE N1.1 is a glass which combines a high level of light transmittance with excellent thermal insulation.
